HENRY LAWSON WALK PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

Henry Lawson Walk Playground proves that sometimes the best discoveries are the unassuming ones tucked into suburban streets. This Point Cook gem delivers a winning combination of well-maintained play equipment and a surprisingly spacious oval that transforms the usual playground experience into something more expansive. The cricket-friendly layout makes it a natural gathering spot for families with older children, while the compact playground keeps the littlies entertained. What sets this place apart is the generous open space - rare in Melbourne's newer suburbs - giving everyone room to stretch their legs properly. It's the sort of practical, no-nonsense setup that actually works for Australian families who want space to kick a footy or organize an impromptu game of cricket without feeling cramped.
