HARRINGTON PARK LAKES

Public BBQ

Harrington Park Lakes offers a 2.4km walking circuit around a scenic lake, with wide, flat paths suitable for walking, running, or birdwatching. The trail features multiple stopping points and seating areas, though the pathway can experience minor flooding. The lake sits within grassy parkland that includes picnic areas and family-friendly spaces that are quiet and spacious. It's a popular spot for observing birds, with many species visible around the water. The lake itself contains bass, carp, and eels for fishing enthusiasts, though water quality can vary. Sunset visits provide particularly attractive views across the water. Access to the lake may be restricted at times, with fencing and covers occasionally in place, so it's worth checking ahead if water access is important for your visit.
