HAROLD REID RESERVE

Public BBQ

Harold Reid Reserve offers a delightful escape from Sydney's bustle, tucked away at Middle Cove with sweeping harbour views that'll have you reaching for your camera. The reserve caters to all energy levels - ambitious walkers can tackle the more strenuous bush tracks extending toward Sugarloaf Bay, while families can enjoy gentle strolls through the peaceful bushland. The elevated picnic area under established trees provides perfect barbecue spots, though you'll want to download a map beforehand (trust me on this one - the track markers could be clearer). Dogs are welcome on the inner and outer loop walks, making it ideal for four-legged family members. The views across Fig Tree Cove are genuinely spectacular, and many visitors find themselves lingering far longer than planned. It's one of those rare Sydney spots where you can actually hear yourself think.
