HAROLD HUGHES RESERVE

Public BBQ

An outstanding reserve and the standout spot in Corinella. The playground is modern and thoughtfully designed, safely fenced, with a flying fox, a trampoline and a good number of swings, set among large grassy areas and beautiful shade trees. Around it sit skate ramps, basketball hoops, tennis courts, cricket nets and a frisbee golf course, with walking paths and history plaques that make a slow lap genuinely interesting. Barbecues are kept very clean, and there are picnic tables including undercover ones, rotunda shelters and a new toilet block, all with good access. The Corinella market runs here on a Saturday morning once a month. The only real gripe is that too much of the seating sits out in full sun.
