GREENFIELD BEACH

Public BBQ

Greenfield Beach reveals itself as one of those rare coastal treasures where pristine white sand meets remarkably well-maintained facilities. The beach sits just a minute's stroll from the compact but perfectly positioned picnic area, where two barbecue stands await families seeking that quintessential Australian beach barbie experience. What strikes you immediately is the serene atmosphere - this isn't your typical crowded beach destination. The walking track offers lovely views, though I did notice the conspicuous absence of rubbish bins, which seems an odd oversight for such a well-appointed spot. The amenities are refreshingly clean, and there's something rather special about this place where the bush genuinely meets the beach. The barbecue area does have its limitations - lighting cuts out around 5pm and gates lock early, which seems rather restrictive for those evening gatherings that make Australian beach culture so appealing.
