GOVERNOR PHILLIP RESERVE BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

Governor Phillip Park sits on the Hawkesbury River at Windsor, offering a spacious riverside setting with plenty of open green space. The park features electric barbecues and sheltered picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds. The playground is a major drawcard, with a gated design that includes a small water play area, tunnels, trampolines, climbing hills, and a flying fox for older kids. Families should bring swimmers for the water play section. The playground has varied equipment suitable for different ages, though the rubber flooring shows some wear with sections ripped up. Riverside walks wind through the park, with good shade under established trees where birdlife is abundant. Clean toilets are available on site. The park includes a boat ramp for water access. It's generally well-maintained and peaceful, though speeding boats on the river can occasionally disrupt the calm atmosphere.
