A standout riverfront park on the Hawkesbury with immaculate lawns, scenic paths along the water and enough on offer to fill a whole day. The playground is the drawcard: zip lines, in-ground trampolines, a giant hanging xylophone, climbing nets, a tunnel, a bike track and a water play area, all securely fenced. Covered picnic shelters, barbecues and clean accessible toilets are spread through the grounds, with wide grassy areas outside the fence that are perfect for a blanket. The boat ramp is well designed and easy to use even on busy days, and the riverbank suits fishing or simply setting up a chair. Parking is plentiful and it rarely feels crowded. One quirk worth knowing: nearby chicken farms can bring an odour on some days.
