GLASSEY PARK

Public BBQ

Glassey Park serves as a multi-sport venue in Berri, hosting softball, baseball, hockey, basketball, and lawn bowls all in one location. The park features a hockey turf that gets regular use, along with green grass areas suitable for various sports. The bowling club includes a bar facility. Parking can be tight when multiple sports are running simultaneously, particularly when hockey and lawn bowls overlap, and the car park could benefit from fresh line markings. The grounds attract both organized sports and casual visitors for walks, though litter from nearby students has been noted as an issue. The lawn bowls club has a reputation for being welcoming to newcomers.
