GEORGE WOODS RESERVE

Public BBQ

This beachside reserve in Mordialloc combines green parklands with thoughtful amenities that keep families returning. Clean barbecues and toilets anchor a well-maintained playground area, while walking trails wind through open sporting fields toward water views. The location proves its worth for both quick stopovers and extended stays, with the river providing a scenic backdrop to picnic spots. Boats dot the waterway, adding to the quiet, coastal atmosphere. Ample parking removes the usual beachside stress, and the proximity to shops means forgotten supplies aren't a disaster. The facilities maintain a notable standard of cleanliness that's often lacking in public spaces, making it a reliable choice for groups seeking a proper barbecue setup without sacrificing convenience or scenery.
