FORESTVILLE RESERVE

Public BBQ

A genuinely good community reserve at Forestville, landscaped by the council over many years and now holding a great deal: a shaded playground, two barbecues, basketball hoops, a skate park, well-maintained gym equipment, a water fountain and a box of balls left out for anyone to use. Wetlands and a creek run through, with ducks, birds and plenty of seats to sit and watch them, and the creek runs after rain and is a fine place to soak your feet on a hot day. Paths suit a walk with a dog on lead, and shade is plentiful. There is a cafe at the pool and plenty of parking. The one drawback everyone raises is that there is only a single public toilet.
