FISHERMANS PARK BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

A boat ramp and park on the river at Surat, opened in 2025 and well set up: a picnic area with a barbecue, interpretive signs, public toilets, potable water and an RV dump point, with free camping permitted. A walking trail runs along the river, and fitness equipment and playgrounds have gone in alongside. The local fishing club is very active here and restocks the river, and there is a fishing campground on the opposite bank. A good place to stay a while rather than just launch a boat.
