FISH MARKET RESERVE

Public BBQ

Fish Market Reserve sits along the Swan River in Guildford, popular with boaters and kayakers who use the well-maintained boat ramp for small to medium craft. The reserve has wood-fired BBQs, picnic tables, and a playground, plus shaded parking for boat trailers. The riverside location attracts dog walkers and families, though fishing reports are mixed. The grassed areas turn mostly to sand in warmer months, and the car park remains unsealed dirt. The biggest complaint across reviews is the complete absence of public toilets. It's a solid spot for launching a boat or having a riverside picnic if you plan accordingly, but the lack of basic facilities and patchy grass make it feel underdeveloped compared to other Swan River reserves.
