FIDDENS WHARF OVAL

Public BBQ

Nestled at the end of a narrow, unmarked road in Killara, Fiddens Wharf Oval emerges as one of Sydney's most enchanting hidden treasures. This free riverside sanctuary requires a bit of navigation to discover, but the reward justifies the search. The oval sits beautifully beside the Lane Cove River, encircled by towering Blue Gums and native bushland that creates an unexpectedly wild atmosphere within suburbia. Wildlife enthusiasts will find themselves captivated - wild rabbids dart across the grounds while Tawny Frogmouth owls watch silently from the canopy above. The facility offers direct access to Lane Cove National Park, making it an excellent launching point for bushwalking adventures.
