FELIX PARRY PARK

Public BBQ

Felix Parry Park sits right on Marcoola Esplanade with direct beach access and a wooden deck overlooking the water. The park has undercover BBQ facilities with sheltered seating, and the barbecues stay consistently clean and well-maintained. A playground with shade sails covers slides, climbing frames, swings, and a seesaw, keeping kids entertained while parents cook. The beach is steps away, patrolled by lifesavers with flagged swimming areas. Toilet facilities include showers and even a cold shower in the accessible toilet. A red light system protects nesting turtles at night. Trees shelter the park on windy days, and there's plenty of grass space for families. Two cafes sit across the road, and the surf club next door offers views, meals, and drinks. Friday evenings get busy when the Marcoola food market runs. The beach works well for kite flying, and there's a tap and bowl for dogs. No beach views from within the park itself, but the location makes up for it with easy access and solid facilities.
