EXETER PARK

Public BBQ

Exeter Park emerges as charming country showground where sprawling grassed areas meet practical needs. The centrepiece cricket oval with proper pitch anchors expansive space doubling as soccer fields. Towering oak trees provide generous shade, their canopy welcome when soft grass invites barefoot exploration. The modest playground serves younger visitors while parents appreciate bench seating. Monthly markets transform venue into bustling hub where visitors browse from plants to handcrafted rugs, though wet conditions make navigation muddy. Grounds occasionally show maintenance lag with overgrown grass, and drainage challenges during wet weather plus absence of nearby toilets represent drawbacks to otherwise agreeable venue.
