ETTALONG BEACH

Public BBQ

Ettalong Beach offers calm, shallow waters perfect for families, with stand-up paddle boarding and gentle swimming conditions. The esplanade runs alongside the beach with a bike path, walking tracks, and a dog-friendly section toward Umina. A popular kiosk serves coffee and takeaway food, though expect a 15-minute wait during busy periods. The small playground suits younger children, and there are toilets and shaded areas under trees. Box restaurant nearby does takeaway fish and chips. The beach provides stunning views across Brisbane Water, and the relaxed atmosphere attracts locals and weekend visitors. Occasional stingrays visit the shallows. The scenic ride from Woy Woy station follows the Hawkesbury River. Markets and cafes dot the area, giving it a small-town coastal feel despite being just over an hour from Sydney.
