ESPLANADE S PARK

Public BBQ

One of the small parks strung along the Moreton Bay Cycleway on the shore of Deception Bay, and a pleasant place to sit and watch the tide go out. Covered picnic tables and bench seats overlook the bay, kept notably clean, and there is a small playground and a barbecue, though the barbecue has been reported faulty. A small sandy beach sits below and dogs are walked along the path constantly, on lead, with an off-leash area not far away. The views take in the bay, its birdlife and, on a clear day, the Glasshouse Mountains. A cafe is a short distance away. There is a mix of sun and shade and the path is very accessible.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
