ELEPHANT PARK

Public BBQ

Elephant Park stands as Orange's crown jewel, particularly spectacular during autumn when the mature trees create a vibrant tapestry of reds, oranges, and golds along tree-lined pathways. The spacious park design caters brilliantly to families, with excellent playground equipment positioned centrally among well-shaded picnic areas. Sheltered tables and BBQ facilities provide perfect spots for outdoor dining, though visitors should note that equipment reliability varies - some report only one of two BBQs functioning during their visit. The permanent orienteering course, established by Goldseekers Orienteering Club with maps available at Orange Info Centre, adds an engaging activity for all ages. Easy walking and cycling paths wind through the grounds, complemented by exercise equipment for fitness enthusiasts.
