EAST BEACH

Public BBQ

East Beach unfolds as a superb stretch of sand where vast openness meets thoughtful amenities. The BBQ facilities and picnic tables occupy a prime position near clean toilets and change rooms, though visitors should pack their own drinking water as there's none on site. Water fountains and showers stand ready to rinse off beach sand, while ample parking eliminates the usual coastal hassles. The beach itself delivers miles of walking territory, from the scenic Bell Buoy path to views of Low Head Lighthouse punctuating the shoreline. Despite being dog-friendly and all-ages accessible, the area maintains a relatively quiet atmosphere even during peak periods like Boxing Day. Swimming conditions prove reliable in decent weather, and the setting accommodates every coastal mood from lazy low tides to dramatic storm-watching. The combination of practical facilities and expansive beach creates a relaxed environment where families can barbecue without the usual beachside compromises.
