DUTCHMANS BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

Dutchmans Beach Reserve represents Port Stephens at its most appealing - a hidden oasis that many 25-year veterans of the area have somehow missed. The crystal-clear water and narrow sandy beach create an intimate setting where you can almost touch the water while relaxing on the sand. The playground features all the essentials - swings, slides, flying fox, tunnel, and balance course - while dozens of picnic tables sit beneath mature trees. The only wildlife hazard comes from overly confident kookaburras that will literally snatch food from your hands. Parking sits conveniently above the beach, while public toilets and peaceful surroundings make this a genuine hidden paradise.
