DONNELLY PARK

Public BBQ

Donnelly Park offers a serene riverside escape where families gather along the water's edge for picnics and barbecues. The recently renovated jetty provides an excellent fishing platform where anglers regularly catch bream, flathead, and snapper. Children gravitate toward the well-equipped playground with swings and climbing equipment, whilst the small basketball half-court keeps older kids entertained. The expansive grassed area accommodates everything from footy kicks to casual runs, with the river providing a picturesque backdrop. Late afternoon visits reveal spectacular sunset displays, with clouds highlighted against the evening sky creating particularly peaceful moments. Clean toilets, abundant parking, and waterside benches make extended stays comfortable. The combination of recreational facilities and tranquil river views creates an ideal destination for both active families and those seeking quiet contemplation by the water.
