DERBY MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL

Public BBQ

In the sweltering heat of Derby, where the mercury seems to have a personal vendetta against human comfort, the Memorial Swimming Pool emerges as nothing short of salvation. This 25-metre oasis offers blessed relief when the Kimberley sun turns the town into a natural furnace. The facility thoughtfully provides shade during the merciless midday hours, whilst a separate wading pool keeps the little ones entertained in their own aquatic playground. The lawn area surrounding the pool features proper facilities and picnic benches, making it entirely possible to extend one's escape from the heat well into the evening. A charming waterpark section caters specifically to toddlers, and the staff maintain the entire complex to impressively clean standards.
