CROSS PARK

Public BBQ

Cross Park sits quietly along Jarrah Road in Roleystone, one of those unpretentious neighbourhood gems that doesn't need to shout about its virtues. The BBQ area anchors a pleasant stretch of parkland where families can claim a picnic table and settle in for an afternoon of outdoor cooking. There's something refreshingly straightforward about the place - no bells, no whistles, just the essentials done well. The tables are positioned with enough space between them that you won't feel like you're dining in your neighbour's living room, and the whole setup has that reliable, well-maintained quality that suggests the local council actually gives a damn. It's the sort of spot where you can fire up the barbie, spread out a proper feast, and let the kids run about while the adults tackle the serious business of perfectly grilled snags.
