CITY PARK

Public BBQ

Griffith's City Park on Kookora Street operates as both a family gathering spot and a canine social club, which creates an interesting dynamic. The off-leash dog area draws devoted pet owners from across town, complete with drinking facilities for four-legged visitors. It's become something of an unofficial photography studio for family portraits - the open spaces and natural light work beautifully. Parents seem genuinely content watching their children explore, though the proximity to the waterway requires the usual vigilance. The barbecue facilities serve their purpose adequately, though the real charm lies in watching the intersection of family picnics and enthusiastic dog meetups.
