CICADA PARK

Public BBQ

Cicada Park emerges as Chapel Hill's hidden recreational gem, where Cubberla Creek meanders through well-maintained parkland creating natural water play opportunities for children. The modern playground equipment caters to various ages, while families appreciate the wooden barbecue facilities and covered shelter areas for gatherings. Active visitors discover outdoor fitness equipment alongside a popular table tennis table, though players must bring their own paddles and balls. The basketball court adds another dimension to this versatile space. Parents particularly value the safe play zones designed for smaller children, complemented by ample street parking.
