CAMPBELL PARK

Public BBQ

Tucked away in Chatswood, Campbell Park delivers exactly what busy families need without any fuss. The barbecue facilities are well-maintained and actually work properly - always a pleasant surprise in Sydney's parks. What struck me most was how the layout just makes sense: picnic tables positioned close enough to the playground that you can flip snags while keeping an eye on the kids. The playground kept my lot entertained for ages, which meant I could actually enjoy my lunch for once instead of wolfing it down between rescue missions. The facilities are clean, the toilets are decent, and there's enough shade to make a summer barbie bearable. It's not fancy, but sometimes that's exactly what you want - a reliable spot that does the basics well.
