The ship-themed climbing equipment sits right beside the beach, making it ideal for quick picnic stops where kids can alternate between playground and sand. The mosquitoes and midges can be aggressive, so insect repellent is absolutely essential. Public toilets are conveniently located nearby, though the superior facilities at Muddy's water play area are worth the 15-minute walk. Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
