Public BBQ

A large, shady park at North Lakes with two distinct playgrounds: a partly fenced toddler area with swings, a barbecue, bin and sheltered seating at the Brumby Parade end, and a more challenging one at the bottom of the park. Between them sits a rock garden with a small boardwalk through the trees, and grassy hills that children roll down. Rock climbing on a wooden platform adds another option. A large flat grassed area and a well-maintained basketball half court are on the Kangaroo Street side, with shady trees and seating dotted throughout. There are no toilets at all. The playing field is rough underfoot and the drink fountain has been reduced to a dribble.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Moreton Bay council.

You should first check with Moreton Bay council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
