BROOKER PARK

Public BBQ

A large Warragul park built around a tree-lined lake, with roughly five kilometres of well-maintained shared paths for walkers and riders, plus boardwalks and revegetation plots. Dogs are the main draw: two fenced dog parks, one for boisterous dogs and one for quieter ones, alongside broader off-leash areas, with drink stations for both people and dogs spread across the grounds. A new toilet block sits beside a new playground of swings, slide and climbing equipment, and there is a sheltered area with plenty of tables and chairs plus a barbecue in an open corner. Free tennis courts round it out. Birdlife is abundant and a large fruit bat colony roosts overhead, which is worth looking up for. The lake itself is largely screened from view.
