BOYD PARK

Public BBQ

Boyd Park emerges as Murrumbeena's weekend barbecue haven, where the well-sheltered gazebo provides reliable refuge from Melbourne's unpredictable weather. The clean, comfortable setting draws regular weekend crowds who've discovered this spot's particular charm for leisurely barbecues with friends and the occasional bottle of wine. Dog walkers appreciate the convenient location and open spaces, while families find plenty of room for relaxation. The BBQ facilities come with good seating and decent shelter, though visitors should plan ahead - the park's notable absence of toilet facilities means a quick dash to nearby amenities might be necessary. A thoughtful bike maintenance station adds unexpected practicality to this neighbourhood gem, making it equally appealing whether arriving on two wheels or four paws.
