BOAT PARK

Public BBQ

This expansive waterfront playground delivers everything families need for a perfect day out, though visitors might find themselves hunting for decent shade on scorching Tasmanian afternoons. The fully-fenced park features multiple climbing structures, flying foxes, and challenging equipment suitable for toddlers through teenagers. Clean barbecue facilities and regularly maintained toilets anchor the experience, while sealed pathways accommodate bikes and scooters perfectly. Two nearby beaches provide additional entertainment - one equipped with a jetty and boat ramp that transforms into a scenic post-playground stroll. Fossil-embedded rocks along the shoreline offer quiet exploration opportunities for curious minds. The Rotary-sponsored facilities generally maintain high standards, though occasional maintenance hiccups with toilets and barbecue scrapers can frustrate prepared families. Food vans appear during peak summer months, adding unexpected convenience to this already well-equipped coastal gem.
