Big Brook Dam near Pemberton in towering karri forest has a 4-kilometre sealed walking circuit hugging the water's edge, welcoming families with prams to joggers. A small sandy beach area provides safe swimming for kids. The water temperature strikes a perfect balance between invigorating and pleasant. Plenty of paved parking, strategically placed toilets, and numerous picnic tables scattered among trees create an effortlessly enjoyable experience. Peaceful. The only sounds are birdcalls and gentle water lapping.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
