BARMEDMAN MINERAL POOL

Public BBQ

Barmedman Mineral Pool presents one of those delightfully quirky Australian experiences that somehow manages to be both refreshing and slightly bewildering. The natural saltwater pool, with its distinctive deep blue hue and mineral-rich waters, offers a genuinely therapeutic soak - though you'll need to embrace the wonderfully slimy bottom as part of the authentic experience. Run entirely by volunteers with charming honesty boxes for entry, the facility epitomises country hospitality. The camping area at $10 a night represents excellent value, complete with BBQ facilities and clean toilets.
