BALHANNAH OVAL

Public BBQ

Balhannah Oval doubles as an affordable overnight camping destination, offering marked sites at $15 per night with convenient payment options. The recently upgraded playground features shade structures, seating, and equipment for multiple age groups, while exercise stations cater to fitness-minded adults. BBQ facilities and bins make it family-friendly, though visitors consistently note the absence of soap in toilet facilities. The first-class oval boasts night lighting and connects to quality tennis courts, creating a comprehensive recreational hub. Winter visitors should expect muddy conditions around the creek area, but the combination of sporting facilities, affordable camping, and proximity to Adelaide Hills businesses makes this a practical base for exploring Balhannah.
