BAIN PARK

Public BBQ

Bain Park sits near Wauchope town centre and packs in more than most parks. The fenced playground keeps younger kids contained while they tackle slides, swings, and climbing equipment. The real standout is the sealed bike and scooter track with miniature road signs dotted throughout, teaching kids traffic rules while they ride. There's even off-road terrain sections on the track. An open oval handles soccer, football, and dog walking. Clean toilets and covered picnic tables with BBQ facilities sit alongside the play areas. Parking runs along three sides of the park, and a Shell service station plus shops are nearby. Watermans Cafe overlooks the playground, giving parents a coffee spot while kids play. The park's well maintained, with a tap for filling dog bowls and plenty of open grassed areas for running around.
