AVOCA DELL

Public BBQ

Avoca Dell on the Murray River operates dual boat ramps that handle everything from speed boats to houseboats launching onto the Mighty Murray. The floating jetty gives boaters a spot to tie up temporarily, while sandy moorings along the bank attract houseboats looking for a good hold. Car and trailer parking spreads across large bays that fill up fast on weekends and public holidays but sit quieter during the week. The ramps stay close enough to Murray Bridge to make fuel runs easy. Toilets are on site. Wake boats and jet skis churn up the atmosphere during peak times, bringing noise and energy that might not suit everyone. Midweek brings calmer water and fewer crowds. The facility stays in good condition with regular maintenance keeping things functional. Both ramps stay busy through summer, proving this location's value as a practical river access point rather than a destination park.
