AULUBA OVAL

Public BBQ

Tucked away on Auluba Road in South Turramurra, Auluba Oval presents itself as one of those quintessentially Australian sporting grounds that somehow manages to be both indispensable and perpetually imperfect. The oval serves as home to Kissing Point Sports Club, where Saturday mornings come alive with the sounds of football boots on grass and the cheerful chaos of canteen queues. The facilities tell a story of practical priorities: there's a clubhouse with bar service, BBQ areas for post-match gatherings, and toilets that function reliably during daylight hours. Cricket nets and a tennis wall provide additional recreation options, while a basketball hoop stands as testament to the ground's multi-sport ambitions. The grass condition varies depending on seasonal demands, with two football pitches sharing space with cricket facilities. Parking proves challenging during peak sporting events, though it's generally adequate otherwise.
