APEX PARK

Public BBQ

This lakeside park offers extensive facilities for families and day-trippers. The grassy areas along the water provide plenty of space for picnics, with multiple BBQ units available for cooking. An enclosed swimming area makes it safe for kids, while fishing spots and a boat launch ramp cater to other activities. The park includes large toilet blocks with cold showers, though water pressure can be low. Ample parking accommodates both cars and boat trailers. Shady trees provide relief on hot days, and the lake views create a relaxing atmosphere. Swans frequent the area. Tables, seats, and water taps are distributed throughout. Walking and cycling paths suit year-round exercise. Boat hire is available. The park stays clean and well-maintained. One minor drawback: plovers can be territorial during nesting season.
