AMMENDOLIA PARK

Public BBQ

Ammendolia Park presents itself as a generous slice of suburban recreational space, with ample room for families to spread out and genuinely relax. The barbecue facilities sit beneath practical shelter, while the playground equipment appears thoughtfully arranged across the expansive grounds. A paved pathway winds around the perimeter, perfect for morning walks or leisurely bike rides with the children in tow. The park's strengths lie in its spaciousness and solid infrastructure - there's rarely a feeling of being cramped, even on busier weekends. However, the waste management situation can be rather deflating. Overflowing bins and scattered rubbish around the barbecue area suggest the facilities struggle to keep pace with visitor numbers, which rather dampens what should be a pleasant outdoor experience. While the bones of a quality family destination are certainly present, the maintenance inconsistencies mean you might want to lower expectations slightly and perhaps pack your own bin bags.
