ALBERT RIVER PARK

Public BBQ

This large park features dedicated off-leash dog facilities with two separate fully fenced yards - one for small dogs and one for medium to large breeds. The dog areas are well-maintained and mowed, though occasional maintenance lapses have seen grass grow long. Parking is available at either end of the park, though it's a bit of a walk to reach the dog enclosures. The main park offers extensive shaded areas and plenty of play equipment for children. Toilets are located at the far end of the park, a short walk from the dog yards. A significant drawback is the non-functional water taps at the dog areas, so bring your own water and bowl for pets. Dog waste can be an issue in the small dog section. The park provides ample space for walking and general recreation.
