YACHTING POINT BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

This national park campsite sits beside Blowering Dam with magnificent water views and plenty of space to pitch a tent under trees or closer to the shoreline. The site costs $6 per night and offers spacious camping spots where groups aren't crowded on top of each other. Drop toilets are maintained regularly and kept clean and tidy. The location suits low clearance caravans and provides access to fishing, swimming, and boating activities. The waterfront area becomes very muddy and slippery, particularly after rain, making conditions treacherous near the water's edge. There's no proper launch area for kayaks. The campground attracts plenty of boats and jet skis during busy periods, so expect activity rather than complete tranquility. Peak season brings hundreds of caravans, speeding vehicles, and constant noise, though the site remains peaceful during quieter times with ample room for everyone.
