About Wanneroo BBQ Facilities

The City of Wanneroo has numerous parks and reserves used for a wide range of activities. The City relies on the public to notify them of any dangerous situations in parks.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Wanneroo?

During Total Fire Bans:

  • Gas BBQs with enclosed flames are permitted - clear flammable material 5 metres away
  • Electric BBQs are permitted (no flame)
  • Solid fuel BBQs (charcoal, wood) are prohibited

Check all gas fittings and ensure a garden hose is in reach. Never leave an active BBQ unattended.
