City of Subiaco has parks and open spaces with BBQ facilities including Subiaco Theatre Gardens.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Subiaco?

During Total Fire Bans in Western Australia:

  • Gas BBQs with enclosed flames are permitted (clear 5m around BBQ)
  • Electric BBQs are permitted
  • Solid fuel BBQs (charcoal, wood, Weber-style) are prohibited

How do I report a fault or issue with a BBQ facility?

If you encounter issues with a BBQ facility, please report them to Subiaco. Common issues include:

  • Safety hazards - exposed wiring, structural damage
  • Cleanliness issues - excessive grease buildup, vandalism
