Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Rockingham?

<p>During <strong>Total Fire Bans</strong> in Western Australia:</p><ul><li><strong>Gas BBQs</strong> with enclosed flames are permitted (clear 5m around BBQ)</li><li><strong>Electric BBQs</strong> are permitted</li><li><strong>Solid fuel BBQs</strong> (charcoal, wood, Weber-style) are <strong>prohibited</strong></li></ul><p>Check fire bans at <a href="https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/total-fire-bans">Emergency WA</a> or call 1800 709 355.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>Use the online venue search to find and hire City facilities, parks and rooms.</p><p><strong>Casual hire charges:</strong></p><ul><li>Seniors (over 18): $150/day</li><li>Juniors (under 18): $75/day</li><li>Schools (during school hours): No charge</li></ul><p>Cancellations or alterations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior.</p>

How do I report a fault or issue with a BBQ facility?

If you encounter issues with a BBQ facility, please report them to Rockingham. Common issues include:

  • BBQ not working - not heating, ignition problems, gas issues
  • Damaged facilities - broken hotplates, damaged tables/shelters
  • Safety hazards - exposed wiring, structural damage
  • Cleanliness issues - excessive grease buildup, vandalism
