About Perth BBQ Facilities

The City of Perth manages 16 major parkland areas and many smaller parks covering 140 hectares. The Swan River foreshore parklands form a 10 kilometre natural boundary for the City.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Perth?

<p>During <strong>Total Fire Bans</strong> in Western Australia:</p><ul><li><strong>Gas BBQs</strong> with enclosed flames are permitted (clear 5m around BBQ)</li><li><strong>Electric BBQs</strong> are permitted</li><li><strong>Solid fuel BBQs</strong> (charcoal, wood, Weber-style) are <strong>prohibited</strong></li></ul><p>Check fire bans at <a href="https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/total-fire-bans">Emergency WA</a> or call 1800 709 355.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>For booking enquiries for parks and gardens, contact the City of Perth Customer Service Centre on <strong>9461 3333</strong> or email <strong>[email protected]</strong>.</p><p>Some areas can be booked for wedding ceremonies and photography.</p>
