Public BBQ Rules & Facilities
Shire of Mundaring has BBQ facilities at Mundaring Weir (waterside spot with undercover picnic tables and play area) and Lake Leschenaultia (shelters available for day hire with BBQ facilities).
Gas BBQs permitted with continuous supervision. Charcoal BBQs are typically restricted except in parks with designated charcoal disposal bins.
During Total Fire Bans:
Check fire bans at Emergency WA
Lake Leschenaultia Shelter Hire: Book through SpacetoCo.
Cancellation: 50% refund if cancelled more than 14 days prior; no refund within 14 days. Full refund if Shire closes Lake Leschenaultia.
Rules: No glass on sand/in water. No pets (except Assistance Dogs). No fishing. No motorised boats.
Fire Safety: Lake may close on Extreme fire danger days - check Facebook before setting off.
