About Sorell BBQ Facilities

Sorell Council has BBQ facilities at Dunalley Canal Walkway (electric BBQs and picnic tables at the Canal end) and Parsonage Place (BBQs, picnic shelters, playground, public toilets). See Council's Parks and Beaches Guide for full listing.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Sorell?

BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.

During Total Fire Ban: Only electric and gas BBQs permitted.

Check fire restrictions at fire.tas.gov.au.

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

For facility bookings and event permits, contact Council.
