About Latrobe BBQ Facilities

Latrobe Council has the Bells Parade BBQ Area (Bark Hut) with electric BBQ, rotunda, kitchen facilities and playground. Camp Banksia at Port Sorell also has BBQ facilities, bike pump track, and tennis courts.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Latrobe?

<p>BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.</p><p><strong>During Total Fire Ban:</strong> Only electric and gas BBQs permitted.</p><p>Check fire restrictions at <a href="https://www.fire.tas.gov.au">fire.tas.gov.au</a>.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>The <strong>Bark Hut at Bells Parade</strong> can be hired for exclusive use.</p><p>Facilities include: electric BBQ, fridge, oven, urn, sink, stainless prep bench, hot plates, tables, accessible toilet, outdoor play equipment.</p><p>Book online via the <strong>Datascape Booking System</strong>. Booking form must be completed and payment made prior to use.</p>
