Public BBQ Rules & Facilities
Glenorchy City Council has BBQ facilities at Poimena Reserve (29 hectares with panoramic views), Tolosa Park (16 bookable huts with electric BBQs), and Giblins Reserve (regional playspace).

During Total Fire Ban: Only electric and gas BBQs permitted. Solid fuel BBQs are banned.
Bushland reserves may close during elevated fire danger.
Tolosa Park Huts can be booked for exclusive use (1-2 electric BBQs per hut):
Hours: 10:30am-4pm (winter) / 10:30am-8pm (daylight savings)
10% non-refundable deposit and bond required.

Note: Jumping castles and helium balloons are NOT permitted.
