About Devonport BBQ Facilities

Devonport City Council has electric BBQs at East Devonport Beach, Mersey Bluff Beach (Main Beach), Coles Beach, Aikenhead Point (Vietnam Veterans Memorial), and Pioneer Park (accessible BBQ). All BBQs are electric and free to use.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Devonport?

<p>BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.</p><p><strong>During Total Fire Ban:</strong> Only electric and gas BBQs permitted. Solid fuel BBQs are banned.</p><p>Check fire restrictions at <a href="https://www.fire.tas.gov.au">fire.tas.gov.au</a>.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?
